NY1 has learned that former Governor Mario Cuomo has died at the age of 82.
This comes just hours after Andrew Cuomo was publicly inaugurated for his second term as the 56th governor of New York.
Governor Cuomo said in his speech at One World Trade Center that his father was unable to attend because he was too ill. He also said he and his family had spent New Year's eve with the senior Cuomo.
Governor Cuomo had also changed his initial plans for his swearing in ceremony to take place in Manhattan as opposed to Albany.
He placed the life of murderers ahead of the life of the unborn. Pro abortion, anti-death penalty. Enjoy your Catholic funeral hypocrite. Let me guess...St. Patrick’s Cathedral for his service?

Andrew Cuomo was judged by the liberal Village Voice as being the most responsible for the mortgage crisis from his actions as HUD secretary. Myself, I would blame 0bama for his role in the bank lawsuit and ACORN organizer that caused the loans to go to unqualified buyers. It is happening again as you read this.

The headline reminded me of a New York Post cartoon from the early ‘90s. Bishop Austin Vaughn had publicly warned Cuomo that his pro-abortion actions meant he was risking hell. The cartoonist drew a naked (but strategically covered by scenery) Mario Cuomo, being poked in the backside by a pitchfork, as the devil was escorting him to his new home, saying “We think you’ll like it here. We’re mostly pro-choice.”
That said, I hope that whatever prayers he might have said before he grew up and became what he became were heard by God, and that he was given a spirit of true repentance at the end.
As Governor, he had Bishop Austin Vaughan beaten up as he said Mass in his cell in the Albany County jail, seems he never took my Uncle Austin’s advise about abortion...

Wrong. Republicans won 4 consecutive elections between 1896 and 1908 and occupied the presidency from 1897 to 1913. McKinley won in 1896 and 1900. Teddy Roosevelt served the remaining 3.5 years of McKinley's second term and won election in his own right in 1904. In 1908 Taft won a forth consecutive Republican presidential race without the advantage of incumbency. Taft probably would have won reelection in 1912 if TR hadn't run again on a third party ticket.
Cuomo bowed himself out of 1988 when he said he was “too ethnic, too liberal, too urban, and too northeastern” to appeal to the rest of the nation.
Cuomo was offered a consolation prize by Bill Clinton: an appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. He turned that down, too.
Cuomo was arrogant, smug, self-satisfied, and convinced of his Olympian superiority to the ignorant masses. He will not be missed.
His family are just as evil as he was.
When it comes to baby-murderers, the usual pieties are not in order.
