The problem is that if Dish bends over for every network when they demand more money, your subscription costs will keep increasing. Then you will see more people complain about how absurd the costs of cable and satellite keep going up.

Why not complain to Fox and tell them to quit being so greedy?

Fox has nearly no presence internationally, if this was indeed an international op. US news abroad is still almost exclusively CNN.
Which leads to interesting speculations about international attitudes towards the US and the origins thereof.
