What happens when liberal authorities release the worst-of-the-worst Muslim terrorists vacationing at Club Gitmo? They return to their terrorist activities, as any idiot would be able to foresee. What happens then? The US government attempts to capture them again — at considerable expense. Take the case of Saudi national Ibrahim al-Rubaysh:

Of course these guys don't go into hiding and become relatively harmless fugitives that just don't want to be caught again, they go back to work, as the leaders and planners of mass death, and experts on Americans and our interrogation techniques and of our own psychology and exploitable weaknesses as captors and interrogators.

To fully close GITMO, Obama might trade our GITMO lease there for opening a US embassy in Havana.
In late 2006 the Bush administration repatriated him back home under a Saudi Arabian “rehabilitation” program that supposedly reformed Guantanamo Bay jihadists but instead has served as a training camp for future terrorists. In fact, in 2008 counterterrorism officials confirmed that many of the terrorists who return to “the fight” after being released from U.S. custody actually graduated from the laughable Saudi rehab program, which started under Bush and continued under Obama.
