According to the FBI statistics, in more than half (51.1% in 2012) of all US homicides, the victim is black. In more than half (53.5% in 2012) of all US homicides, the offender is black. Considering that -- according to the Census Bureau -- blacks only make up 13.2% of the US population, those are amazing statistics.
Black lives don't appear to matter to blacks when they are taken by other blacks. They only appear to matter when they are taken by non-blacks.
The other, bizarre, theme seems to be that less of a police presence in black neighborhoods will somehow make those neighborhoods safe. (Okay - I think they have set up an experiment here. Let's see what happens over the next three years.)
And the quality of black lives don't matter to a government whose policies have been disastrous to young black men. OTOH, those same policies have actually enforced idleness and encouraged crime, thereby setting up more hostile situations between black men and the police. Gee, you'd almost think it was intentional.
The Left has successfully weaponized one-eighth of the population. The slightest hint of pulling the trigger on that weapon has changed the course of national elections, and got inside the decision loop of the Right.
Few more effective terror weapons have ever existed. The Glorious Cause is being advanced, with only the loss of a few thugs and tools.
