Eyewitness claims 'people were CLAPPING AND LAUGHING' at the scene where two cops were killed

I commend you sincerely for being civil in this conversation.

I remember when a multi-convicted felon broke into my car as I watched from my apartment window. He used a carpet knife. I armed myself and went down to investigate. He was long gone. The pigs (Alexandria, VA) threatened to arrest me. Needless to say, they had no case. And, no, I would not shoot a man for breaking into my car. For attacking me with a carpet knife, I certainly would.

I lived in high crime Alexandria, and have many pig stories like that. I remember when a DC pig got out of his car and confronted a bunch of yuppies with a handgun because somebody threw a snowball at his car. He was reprimanded. You try that someday in DC and see what happens. My problems with the pigs are twofold:

1. When they commit felonies, their buddies are silent.
2. When they are caught, they get 50 dollar fines.

I am a free man, and they are no better than I, and they are not, or should not be, my overlords.

Pull the cops out of the Black cesspools. Let Sharpton and his buddies, DeBlasio, Holder and Obama, patrol the streets of Bed-Sti.

Change has to happen.

The black community doesn't respect the police and the rest of us are damn sure sick of paying policemen to risk their lives babysitting the 'black community'... it's the black 'community' that eats up police budgets ...

Blacks live in an eighth of the city? Give black 'community leaders' an eighth of the money collected for police protection and get cops "the hell out of Dodge..."

With extra police protection spread out over the non-black areas of the city, people of other races can stop buying expensive security systems. Or huddling in their homes with 911 on speed dial. It'll be nice... ( In some cities MOST city money allocated for police is spent on the 'black community' - that will end with the new system)

As far as blacks crying about being 'stopped' by a cop - that's over. As long as any black man stays within 'the community' (being protected by black community leaders) he won't be stopped for anything. No more humiliation... no more 'guessing' a guy who looks like a gangbanger IS a gang banger. All black men will be treated with the same respect given to White Bank Presidents (Bank Presidents who never received even a parking ticket) AND live in upscale neighborhoods.

No more 'profiling'.

No more police protection either...

The good people of the Urban League NAACP, Black Panthers or Jesse Jackson's Rainbow will do the 'protection' for 'the community'... Call 911 and a Black Panther will answer AND run right over... or not...

Who knows - maybe it'll work.

The plan works for almost every group. Protesters will be thrilled - no more cops for them to deal with... Non-blacks will be thrilled with extra police protection in the 'non-black' parts of town. Cops will be thrilled having a much safer job. Black community leaders will be thrilled with the extra money. Black criminals will be thrilled with the freedom it affords them to commit crimes. Everyone wins. Well, everyone will be thrilled except the honest black families trying to raise their children in the new killing fields...

There are few of us in this nation who can’t point to a time in history when our forebears were treated badly. My Father’s ancestors were Scott/Irish who were berated and looked down upon and called “animals” when they came here. My Mother’s people were a mixture of Creek and Cherokee Indian; one of my grandmothers was stolen by her Creek husband-to-be off of The Trail of Tears. That mixture of Indian/Irish blood is often laughingly referred to amongst my family members as an “unfortunate and rather nasty” combination. :) Regardless of our history, we are Americans and we complain about the government and taxes, etc. because it’s our country.

It’s plain to see that most African-Americans aren’t interested in anything a white person has to say. If only people like you and your father could speak out more to the younger ones, maybe someday there will be some common ground. We Whites have our own set of problem people with their own unique wrong ideas about who is supposed to provide for them besides themselves. I’ve yet to get anyone to tell me exactly what “white privilege” means. I’ve personally never experienced or seen it.
