Bill and Hillary Clinton's midterm travel expenses top $1.5 million

Campaigns and political committees spent more than $1.5 million on private jets to fly in Bill and Hillary Clinton to stump for various candidates during the 2014 midterms, campaign filings show.

The tally includes $44,360 the final weekend of the campaign for a plane in Iowa. That was when Bill Clinton did a fly-around for failed Democratic Senate hopeful Bruce Braley. There was also a $21,801 charge that weekend to Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu’s unsuccessful reelection campaign, a POLITICO review found.

More than 60 payments were made to a New York-based company called Executive Fliteways over the course of 2013 and 2014, a review of FEC records, campaign filings and state parties found.

The Clintons are desperate to get back into office----they figured they'd have "you owe me chits" IF the candidates won......too bad most Dems suffered stinging losses.

Democrats say the historic nature of a Hillary run could lead to a different, but still vibrant, electorate....the first woman president would likely generate outsized enthusiasm among young and single female voters, which could offset drops in other parts of the electorate. "Women will love it, and so will other groups, including young voters”...Democrats say.

Bullhockey....midterm reality looms large. The women's vote was a bomb---only one of the women Hillary campaigned for won. Candidates mentioning the War on Women nonsense were laughed off the stage. Texas' Abortion Darling collapsed and so did Sandra "The Vagina" Fluck.

MIT economics professor Jonathan Gruber argued in his Clinton paper that without the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, “marginal children” would have been born to many poor mothers. Gruber said statistics show these aborted children would have been 70 percent more likely to live in a single-parent family, 40 percent more likely to live in poverty, 50 percent more likely to receive welfare and 35 percent more likely to die as an infant.

Economist Steven D. Levitt and journalist Stephen J. (3) The "Clinton Global Initiative" (NOT KNOWN for giving out grants)---gave Harry Reid's granddaughter a grant for a Brooklyn, NY theatre she runs (what is a Brooklyn theatre's connection to "global initiatives?")

(4) A Nevada energy company also gave Reid's granddaughter's theatre group a grant.

Besides the "jewelry company" financed by her grandfather, Ryan Elisabeth Reid runs the Sprat Theater Company, a small theater in Brooklyn, which is also coming under scrutiny. According to Sprat’s Theatre Company Web site, it has received grants/contributions from:

Caesar’s Foundation, and the NV Energy Foundation.

NOTE NV Energy Foundation---is a non-profit division of NV Energy (a public utility). The NV Energy utility is a subsidiary of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company which took over in 2013....and is now owned by a Warren Buffet unit.

BTW, here's Harry w/ his grand-daughter....the one who got $31,000 in laundered campaign funds for her "jewelry company" and grants from Clinton and Nevada energy foundations.
