I was just telling my teenage kids (properly raised to be liberty-minded) that if JFK was alive toady he’d be considered a TEA party Republican.
-He believed in a strong America
-He cut taxes!
-He was anti-crime, pro-police
-He was an anti-commie cold warrior
-He supported civil rights—which was a Republican thing back then, since the democrats opposed all of it.

Garner died from trying to take a buck from politicians who overtaxed a commodity. The cops were simply doing their job and the guy was huge and was supervised by all the necessary people and it was a heart attack that killed him.

One of the things that you left out of your list of Cuban history is that the Cubans were exporting communism and arms to anti-government movements throughout Latin America. They also sent troops to places like Angola.
Despite US sanctions, Cuba is far from being isolated. They have many foreign embassies in Havana from Western Europe including the UK, Germany, France, and Italy. Canada, Mexico, and Japan also have diplomatic missions there It is silly to think that US representation there will affect the political equation in Cuba. We also have American diplomats stationed there in the Swiss Embassy as part of our interest section.
There is no doubt that our large Cuban immigrant population helped shape US foreign policy towards Cuba. I guess the question is what is the advantage for the US for normalization now? I think special corporate interests are pushing for normalization to take advantage of trade and tourist opportunities. If Cuba, why not North Korea and Iran?

I so agree...well put. He has wanted this race war from the beginning and has watered his garden with words. The race war keeps the progressives in power, and the long shot may be martial law,either way its a win-win for Obozo.

Either the Tea Party does what you suggest, and that’s back one and only ONE candidate.
How about Ted Cruz?
If not, throw the gauntlet down and see where it lands. I will NEVER vote for Jeb Bush and I suspect I’m not alone.
Maybe us Tea Party types need to realize we don’t have the numbers or organization and accept the GOP elite choices for us.

Most don't realize just who these communists are.These are the worst of the worst.
They help foment revolution, chaos, murder, mayhem, in any country they think has a chance to go commie.
In their jails your will find hideous conditions,torture beyond belief and "a brainwashed scared to death society" that has been taught revolution from the time they were born.
I thought I had learned/heard all the torture techniques there were. But the Communist Cubans have some I never have heard of.
Some living on the island have been known to douse themselves in gasoline and then set themselves on fire. A hideous death.
While yet another method done by prison guards is even worse.
There is always a shortage of blood on the island so prison guards sometimes take blood from prisoners. Alllll their blood.
They will literally hook up a prisoner to tubes draining his blood and not stop until he keels over and his heart can no longer pump any blood.
This is the Cuba Ozero has embraced that you will never hear about.
