Just one day before President Obama announced sweeping changes that would allow potential American investment in Cuba, the Cuban government apparently had begun preparing itself by announcing new measures that would allow Cubans who work for foreign companies to keep only 8% of their salaries.
In an official announcement in state newspaper Granma, government officials announced a system in which employees who work for corporations with foreign capital will be paid two Cuban Pesos for every Convertible Cuban Peso (CUC) the corporation actually pays them. The Convertible Peso (CUP) is almost exclusively for the use of tourists and is of significantly greater value; one CUC is the equivalent of an American dollar and the equivalent of 26.5 CUPs. The other 24 CUPs Cuban workers will not receive amount to 92% of their salaries.

That’s not anything new for Communists... It is a very short step from wage fixing/price fixing to simply allowing wages to soar only to rake your ‘share’ right off the top.

Obama is not alone in his insensitivity towards the suffering of the Cuban people. Republicans, as Arizona Congressman Flake, have been for many years in the front of Castro’s sycophants defending the Cuban Communist regime.
There many as Flake in Washington, women - bankers, business owners, government officials and others that support freer American travel to Cuba. They continue ignoring the blood and tears of hundreds of thousands of Cuban heroes and martyrs while they feast and party with the tyrant.

Representative Flake, in proposing a project of law forcing the Executive power to ignore and violate the laws already in force that were promulgated by the Congress and signed by the President, denotes his faithful loyalty to his last name (a person marked by eccentric behavior or thinking). He wants to institute in our country a cafeteria rule of law in which each one picks whatever laws they want to obey or to ignore.
“Flake believes that by traveling more freely to Cuba, Americans will bring with them ideas and values that will help end the communist regime.” In other words, the contact with hundreds of thousands of European, Canadian, and Latin American tourists, have not been able to infest the Cubans with the virus of democracy. According to Rep. Flake, only by the contact with the American tourists, the virus of democracy and freedom can be transmitted.
Is Obama as delirious as Flake? Unless the Americans he has in mind are the Marines.

Cuba is setting an example for the Democratic Party to follow, and for the Republican left to envy. Even with plundering to that extent, Cubans will be making much more than what they would otherwise make. The despots are renting out their serfs to foreign corporations.
Obama idolizes Fidel Castro. He is everything that Obama wants to be.
A communist dictator who remained in complete control of his country for 50 years, only to turn power over to a close relative.
Obamanistas must need to change their shorts. 92% income tax rate. That is fantastic. Who was the idiot who said “we don’t have a spending problem, we have a paying for it problem.” Well with a 92% tax rate we can pay for everything. Do they even need 8% of their income? They have the best free medical system in the known universe, it is a workers paradise where everyone has a classic car, and their education system is top notch.
