A 15-year-old girl was prevented from joining the terror group Isil after police dramatically stopped her plane on the runway at Heathrow.
The youngster, from Tower Hamlets, London, had secretly saved up money for her flight without her parents’ knowledge and tried to flee to Syria.
But counter-terrorism officers, who had been tipped over about her plans, raced to the airport and stopped her plane which had already begun taxiing on to the runway.
The flight, which was heading to Turkey, was turned around while officers took the youngster off and returned her to her family.
However, in an unrelated case, it emerged a second 15-year-old girl who officers had also been trying to trace had managed to fly out earlier and is now feared to be in Syria.

In my experience the minds of teenagers can often short circuit. Some will be susceptible to the lies and romanticizing from some quarters about “jihad.” It doesn’t help that the Muslim communities in the West fail to call these people out and let their people know the true face of the terrorists.
How could a 15 year old buy tickets and leave the country without her parents consent?
Most of these teenage volunteers are of middle eastern heritage or in some cases Bosnian Muslims. So they already identify with that part of themselves that is different from the other British youth. This girl should not have been given back to her parents. Obviously, they cannot handle her. I give it one month, and she will have run off to rejoin her terrorist friends with benefits. She’s only just begun to jihad.

She would have been passed around from one smelly bearded savage to another. When they got through with her they would have stoned her for adultery.
She isn’t looking at it in reality, she has heard it glorified by whoever shoveled it to her.
My son is 15. He cannot leave the country without a notarized document signed by my wife and I, granting him permission to leave.
I believe the Muslim community tacitly supports the terrorists.

These girls are told they will meet a dark skinned handsome hunk that will thrill them the rest of their lives.
The thrills will end within thirty minutes of their flight’s arrival.
Maybe she looked older than she was. I have seen 15 year old girls that would pass for 18 any day of the week.
