Note that the framing of picture INTENDED to include the Che photo...the photographer was, at least pandering but, more than likely, was furthering an agenda.

These people are probably uber-LIBs who sent this fellow o n his journey to give internet to Jews in Cuba. They see nothing wrong with Che. Most likely they are some sort of “non-profit” so-called Beltway Bandits. The WDC area is infected with them. Most are LIBs.
The “ray gun” looks to me like a cordless drill with a keyless chuck. A dandy tool for extracting confessions out of “enemies of the people” via a little unsceduled dental drilling....if you get my drift. I understand it’s more effective and less bloody than pulling fingernails.
“smelling her hair” is a trick of perspective.
I thought that at first, too, but look where his hands are - makes it a bit awkward to actually have his nose on her head.

You are apparently correct. The photo I saw, with it on the desk at a different angle did not show the obvious toy-like appearance that yours revealed. That makes it even more puzzling. What are toys doing in commie brutes’ offices?
