Merry Christmas.
I came across this thread while browsing ‘Christmas’ threads and was surprised that it didn’t receive more comments. But then I recalled a recent thread about Freepers who were alone on Christmas Eve - which I continued reading over a three day period.
Most all of them were lonely, either over loss of spouse, divorce, being single or being far away from family. Loss of spouse or a child was the most painful - as you and I know. It was touching to read.
We go about our everyday posting here, discussing, arguing and laughing about anything and everything and seldom think about the sickness, loss, or pain that others are going through each and every day.
I hope your Christmas was a happy one spent with family, as mine was. I just read through an old Christmas post by Brad’s Gramma. It was such a happy thread, full of fun and happiness back in 2011, and I was surprised over how many of those people are no longer ‘here’. God Bless You.
