No, both Dems and Rs have a way better argument than that.
They claim that Cruz forced Senate Dems to stay in in DC rather than going home, so now Reid can put 25 nominations up for a vote in a Senate that only requires 51 Dems out of more than that.
Now tonight I heard Maddow whining that Reid only plans to pass half that amount (25/2) through the Senate in the time they have based on what she says is the Cruz move.
So will the Senate GOP block all those nominations? Or the key ones?
I still think Lee or Pence would make a better President, while Cruz should stay in the Senate to build a coalition for freedom.
I’m getting tired of people attributing motives to Cruz that they themselves might have and he never would.

THIS LAME DUCK CONFIRMATION PROCESS HAS BEEN LONG PLANNED BY REID AND THE ‘RAT LEADERSHIP. The kickoff was when maneuvered to change from a 60 vote closure rule to a simple majority closure rule (aka THE NUCLEAR OPTION) earlier this year. Cruz had absolutely NOTHING to do with this as any knowledgeable person would know. REID AND THE ‘RATS WILL go home when they’ve confirmed those they want to confirm.
Stopping Obama from destroying the nation is so inconvenient.

You’ve asked that question several times. Don’t you understand that the Republicans do not (in this 2013/2014 session of Congress) have the 50 votes needed to block under the ‘RATS “Nuclear Option”? Come January they’ll move from 45 Republican Senators to 54 Republican Senators at which time they can block whichever of Hussein’s appointees they want to block.
