The victim - Matthew Cooper - is home from the hospital after suffering a broken jaw and concussion.
The victim, Matthew Cooper, said he believes he was a set up by his own friend. Cooper thinks his friend thought the punch in the face would be funny.
"All I remember is getting hit, said Cooper. After that I don't remember much after that."
Cooper said the attack happened on Thursday. He stepped out of a bathroom stall at Cordova High School when he said he was punched in the face. He said he was the victim of the "knockout game" where kids try to knock out an unsuspecting victim for fun.

Preposterous. There is NO knock out game. Only white cops shooting innocent black chirruns.
Don’t bother going to the article to find out about race. The media report scrubbed it of such content completely.
This child perpetrator is a future candidate for a “slugs for thugs” crime prevention program.
Can’t be. Authorities have assured us there is no “knock out game” and if there is, all reported incidents do not follow the “rules” of the non-existent game.
In Australia, they have renamed this act as a “coward punch”. I encourage adoption of this more accurate term.
I’m not fan of the “Knock Out Game”, where the thug gets one punch to knock out an unsuspecting victim. However, I am a fan of “Round Two”, where the CCW civilian gets one shot to knock out the thug. In a state with lots of CCW, Team Thug would run out of players quickly.
“Knock-out” game? They try that with me and I’ll show them “Shoot-out” game.
Also known as the “checkout game”.
