A fight over a bill at a popular South Florida restaurant spiraled into a brawl Sunday, as angry patrons hurled glass mugs, chairs and Christmas ornaments in a melee that left a waiter hospitalized, police say.

When police arrived, the party that had started the fight left the restaurant and were outside in the parking lot. Multiple witnesses identified several of the patrons as being involved in the brawl, including 29-year-old Roosevelt LaGuerre, 29-year-old Claude Galland, 25-year-old Eurasha Fonseca and 19-year-old Abby Gay Thompson.

That was my initial thought.
The reporter said “ignorance” was the word to describe the incident. No, the thugs knew exactly what they were doing. The reporter was the ignorant one.
Such lovely couples in those mug shots. Hard to imagine they’d cause such a commotion.
I still like La-A best; the one pronounced La Dash Ah.

Point there BUT... I had found a ‘critter’ or so in the salad, pulled the waiter aside and asked for the Mgr to point it out...he asked me if I wanted a replacement (I passed) and I asked him if the salad was pre-prepared or made as they go.
“No, in big bowl and we serve”... Anyhow, on the way out, nothing, not even a ‘hearty thank you’, just pay your bill etc. Sorry, but ‘waiter paid for that ‘mistake’’. (Owner on the register).
Ticked me off to the point that if I had ‘screamed out for the owner’, yelled at the waiter and busboy, and let the world know, they probably would have at least taken something off or given chit for next time.
It gets to be anymore with the lack of ‘American English’ speaking skills from the clerks that if they make a mistake in MY favor, I will attempt to return the money but normally if you bring it up, THEY think you are saying they shorted you...Why bother....You don’t want to learn MY language in MY country, you can pay for your mistakes or the guy that saw fit to hire you and put you in the public eye.
