House Conservatives Have the Power and Should Depose Speaker John Boehner
redstate.com ^ | 12/16/14 | Erick Erickson

The “cromnibus” bill is soon to become law. The majority of House and Senate Republicans conspired with President Obama to fund his executive amnesty. Where do conservatives go from here?

Yes, we need to pick up the flag and force Republicans in February to actually fight as they are now promising when funding for the Department of Homeland Security expires, but there is an even more important intervening event that must draw our undivided attention.

The vote on whether Rep. John Boehner will be Speaker will occur in January, and 30 conservative House members can deny him re-election. It will be an actual public vote—not a behind-the-scenes, paper ballot vote. Although many would have you believe otherwise, Boehner has not yet been elected Speaker for the new term. House Republicans elected him as their nominee for Speaker in November, but the full House of Representatives needs to vote on his nomination in January.

House conservatives must summon the courage to oppose Boehner’s nomination on the floor in January. It is a moral imperative. You cannot consistently complain about Leadership’s many failures—and the treachery involved with a Speaker fresh off a successful wave election conspiring with President Obama to fund amnesty and enjoy a celebratory phone call in the aftermath—and then vote for him to continue in this role. To paraphrase Albert Einstein, that is the definition of insanity, and it is enabled by a vote for Rep. John Boehner

RINO Boehnhead needs to be deposed in time to disinvite Traitorobama from publically barfing his SOTU before a joint Congress. Let Traitorobama write it on a roll so it can be put in one of the Capitol Hill restroom stalls.

And there my friends is the million dollar question. Are there 30 good men or women in the house with a REAL BACKBONE to go against the establishment rhino’s?

I’m not even near as irritated with Boehner as with the lack of enthusiasm for God in the households of this land.

I think there is more enthusiasm for the Lord in households than you believe.
The MSM/loudmouthed pundits talk it down or ignore it, but it's there.

I look at collective spiritual consequences. Which not even the MSM can mask.

The gay marriage rage would come to a screeching halt if America prayed as much in their bedrooms as did other things there. I believe that.

Boehner and McConnell - all talk but when it comes to action, they are working for the democrats.

If you voted for Boehner or McConnell, then you voted for Obama/Democrats agenda.

The election is over. Erickson can play conservative again.

That said, Boehner absolutely must go.

My first reaction is to hang the SOB from a lamppost, but I guess we should take a vote.

“Reagan’s 11th commandment: Thou shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican.”

1. Boehner is not a Republican.

2. Boehner works for Obama.

3. Under Boehner, the Republican party is a mere subsidiary
of the Democrat party.

4, Either he goes, or the nation goes.

Actually the House rules do not require the Speaker to be a member.

“Allen West cannot replace Boner....he is no longer a congressman thanks to the GOPe....”

can you please advise wherein you know this?

My copy of the constitution does not say it must be a sitting member of that body.

Ted Cruz will have senate duties to attend to. I’d gladly take Mark Levin as Speaker of the House.
