PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — A top Pakistani official says that 84 students have been killed in a Taliban attack on a military-run school in the northwestern city of Peshawar.
Pervez Khattak, the chief minister of the province where the attack is underway, says that roughly the same number of students have been wounded.
According to Khattak, the 84 killed in the Tuesday attack were all "children" but hospital officials earlier said at least one of the fatalities was a teacher and one security official were also among the dead.
Khattak says the fighting is still unfolding at the school.

We can but hope that the Pakistani Army will now go on a rampage through the Taliban area, wiping out a dozen villages (or more) sympathetic to them. They and their families should be shown no more mercy than an equivalent giant pack of rabid dogs.

Have you seen the Pakistanis crying out for gun control egged on by elites and the media? Perhaps they are not as gullible as us. They understand that the problem is not guns but criminality which will never ever obey “laws”. Guns are needed to protect against criminality.
When one becomes cynical, such events are never taken at face value. Instead a cynic looks at the non-obvious and potential beneficiaries and even outside the box.

Will the Pakistani military take on the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) who support the Taliban?
This SHOULD be a Pakistani v. Pakistani fight to determine whether the Military will submit to the islamization of all branches of the government under the ISI and their Taliban henchmen.
Without a conclusive military v. ISI civil war of the bureaucracies (with guns in the streets), this sort of slaughter should be expected to continue. Will the general stand for their children to be slaughtered?
So far, the generals are totally okay with having their kids killed by ISI’s hatchetmen in the Taliban.
Obama's statement condemning the attack did not mention the Taliban.
Well I think you know Obama has tried allies with Talibunnies, and 7 of the CIA were "asploded," but he keeps trying...am I sounding rhetorical?
Whenever you capture a Taliban member he should be questioned for any intel, then executed.
The Taliban is just doing what Islam commands them to do.

Please remember our CIA was working with these folks back when the Russians (our cold war enemy) had invaded Afghanistan. So sorry the CIA lost the maps to the Tora Bora caves when bin Laden was believed to be hiding there. Meanwhile the current death toll is up to 142 according to Al Jazeera. Figured they might have better access to up to date news, also this article has over 1,000 comments which should give a better read of Islamic public opinion.

Give them SRS (Sex Reassignment Surgery), dress them up in short skirts, pantyhose, heels, pigskin suede jackets, makeup, dye their hair blonde and redhead, and drop them off in Western Iraq to fend for themselves. They can then make fine jihadi wives or perhaps not.
Note to all Christians: get out from majority Muslim lands, no matter how “moderate” they are. In their absence the Muslims will find a way to kill each other.
