drudge tweeted that Obama had dirt on Boehner.

Why is no reporter or anyone asking “Mr. Boehner does Obama have information which is blackmailing you?”

True. With 51 votes those 9 that won’t be returning, thank goodness, had to stick it to Americans one more time with these radical lefty nominees.

Yeah and the GOP should not change this. They should block every damn nominee using the exact same rules concerning the filibuster. Will they. Probably not but if I were Cruz I’d make it clear especially in the case of judges (none should get through) that the GOP is betraying their voters and the constitution every time they vote to let a far left judge take the bench.

” said Steve Deace, a syndicated radio host based in Iowa, the first-in-the-nation presidential caucus state. “I don’t think there are enough words in the English language that adequately describe how much Washington, D.C., is hated by everyone outside Washington, D.C.”

This puts Cruz in good standing.

I’ve often heard here on FR that Gowdy is pro-amnesty. Do you know anything about that?

I hope he doesn’t try for the Presidency...

I pray that he does.

I would have to look up some examples. From what I remember he is softer on immigrations than I would like due to his acceptance that there are already many living in the US that he would not deport.

I pray that he does.

Then in my humble opinion, your prayer is foolish. It discounts the importance of what Cruz is doing. It blows off successful conservative administrators like Mike Pence. The demonization from the left would divide the nation worse than it is while sharpening their shallow arguments against conservatives in mass media (and I want you to envision endless campaign ads and "news" reports (same thing) showing Cruz reading Dr. Suess on the Senate floor). Meanwhile we need his advocacy in the Senate to defeat the left in Congress, at which he has shown himself most able.

The left will demonize any Republican and/or conservative that threatens them. Cruz or Pence, it doesn’t matter to them. If they haven’t messed with Pence yet, it’s because he hasn’t emerged as a serious threat to them.

IMHO, we need something more than a competent administrator as president. That was Romney’s main (perhaps only) selling point.

What Romney couldn’t do was inspire people, he didn’t advance a discernible agenda, and he gave the voters no particular reason to trust him. Worst of all, he never acted like he really wanted the job.

And that’s why Obama got a second term.

Yes, but their relative success will depend upon the material the candidate supplies.

Of course. That's why you want a guy like Pence, but for the fact that you are willing to tacitly defame him equate an outstanding conservative governor with a RINO like Romney. The rest of your "argument" is equally destructive.
