Following her much-publicized opposition to the omnibus spending bill last week, Sen. Elizabeth Warren tried to dampen any talk about her running for president in 2016 and challenging presumptive Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
In an interview with NPR’s Steve Inskeep Monday morning, Warren said on three separate occasions she will not be running to occupy the White House in 2016. Rather, the newest member of Senate leadership said her focus is fighting for “hard working families who just want a fighting chance.”
“Would you tell these independent groups, ‘Give it up!,’ you’re just never going to run,” asked NPR’s Inskeep.
“I told them, I’m not running for president,” Warren responded.

She’s a millionaire, who would not give up her paycheck to help the poor, but she wants you to give up your money to help the poor. Amazing what hypocrites these people are, and even more amazing how stupid people are to follow them

Another theory: she is quite sharp, remembers what happened to McGovern, and would rather be a senator than a humiliated Democratic presidential candidate.
Parsed words, in the present tense. The correct question should be “Are you planning to run, or do you anticipate running in the future?”
I think that after 8 years of Obama, voters are ready for a change (just like after 8 years of Bush). The only hope the Democrats have are: (a) a centrist candidate, or at least one that pretends to be, or (b) a really bad Republican candidate.
The last unabashedly liberal candidate to run for President was George McGovern. He got creamed, by Nixon. Every subsequent Democrat candidate tried to run as a centrist. They weren't, for the most part. But, they managed to pull the wool over voter's eyes.
Warren can't do that. Unlike Obama, who avoided taking positions on anything, Warren has loudly proclaimed her progressive credentials.
You folks better hope she’s right otherwise the country is screwed for another four years considering the way Republicans shoot each other in the foot these daze.
And that is why she is a hypocrite. She has her money invested on Wall Street, the very entity she proclaims she wants to dismantle. She won’t and she’ll continue to make money from Wall Street. What she really wants is “income equality” where the poor wages rise to the level if 25. per hour and the middle class wages lower from 45.00 to 25.. per hour. That’s her real goal
Like every progressive democrat communist rino, lying is her primary nature, in her case as in the rest of them there is overwhelming evidence.
