The Rev. Al Sharpton is keeping expectations low for Saturday’s National March Against Police Violence — predicting that only “several thousand” protesters will gather along Washington’s Pennsylvania Avenue.
“We have over 100 buses coming from New York alone, but I’m not giving out numbers,” Sharpton told The Post Friday night.
The permit is for just 5,000 protesters, a National Parks Service spokesperson said Friday.
That’s modest by DC protest standards.
Martin Luther King Jr. amassed a crowd of 250,000 for his 1963 civil-rights march; the 1995 Million Man March drew 400,000 to the nation’s capital.

It’s cold out. I suggest the next time Democrats start protesting, just spray them with a fire hose...NOT knocking them down, but getting them seriously wet.

Has there ever been mass protests before when people don’t even want to change a single law? They just want to yell about “police brutality” and “racism”. I guess protesting against a law runs the risk that the law might actually change and the protest organizers would be out of a job. But yelling about “racism” is job security. You can always change the definition, or not define it at all, and keep the protests going.

Saw on Newsmax news on DirecTV yesterday that THE Rev. Al has been to the Mosque on Pennsylvanian Avenue (formerly known as the White House) 61 times to visit the Moola Omar Obama since 2009. THE Rev has to get those marching orders for the next racial riot.
