Two men were killed and 13 other people, including a 15-year-old boy, were wounded since Friday in separate shootings on the city's Far South and West sides, said police.
Around 7:03 p.m., a 28-year-old man was fatally shot while he sat in a vehicle on the 1300 block of North Springfield Avenue. The man was in the vehicle with a female child when someone came up to the vehicle and began shooting.
According to WGN TV, the man had a 3-year-old girl who was possibly his daughter on his lap at the time.
The man was shot in the head and was later pronounced dead. The child was not injured, Sweeney said.
The man was a documented gang member, police said.
Earlier Friday afternoon, two people were shot on the West Side, including a 15-year-old boy.
The boy was standing with a male friend on the front porch of a home in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue.

Non-descriptive, unless the writer means the man was a citizen, compared to an undocumented illegal alien gang member. Or does this mean the guy was an illegal gang member? I know the city of Chicago needs tax revenues to fund its operations, so maybe they sell gang licenses like a cab medallion.
At this point, these hundreds of murders in Chicago are into the insane sphere. The only explanation I can think of is it’s god practicing population control. He’s decided there are too many humans on earth......or something like that.

There is NO money or other rewards to be gained protesting the murder of BLACK men by other BLACK men.
The tragedy of the BLACK people in the United States is the type of people who have risen (?) to the positions of leadership.
I feel great sympathy for a people being led steadily downward by those who claim to be “leaders”.

Chicago is not bad to visit, just stay out of the south and west sides of Chicago. There are lots of suburbs around Chicago to visit. many from Chicago area are gone on the weekends to Wisconsin and Michigan, to hunt, ski, fish, camp or basically get out the area to recuperate. i see many of my neighbors here in the UP of Michigan whom are from Chicago more often. they are happy to get out the area. I hear many have to the insurance companies deal with their stolen work vehicles show up on the southside of Chicago - the top cut off the work truck and the equipment all gone. getting to be more common and maddening fro the businessman. They say it is nice up here, than they read the paper about all the drug busts for heroin, and prescription drugs. heroin in rural areas is on the rise and many of the police are not prepared in how to deal with it in rural Michigan.
