An unequal economic recovery has helped create the largest wealth gap between minorities and whites in more than a decade, a new report found.
The gap has grown, as white Americans -- who are more likely to own stocks -- rode surging financial markets to greater wealth, the Pew Research Center said Friday.
Meanwhile, minorities, hit harder by the housing crash, saw their wealth decline between 2010 and 2013.

If over 70% of black children are born to single women, have no father if the home to provide for their support, as has been happening for many years, then the problem will only get worse.
No white person, no government program can solve this problem. The black community must recognize the problem, which they don’t, and then address it. The only structure in the black community having a chance to make an impact is the black church.
With illegal ‘people of colors’ flooding through our unsecured border, I thought Whitey WAS the New Minority?

It’s demographics. White people don’t reproduce much anymore. Proportionately, there are more young “minorities”. Young workers make less $$$. And make more trouble. It will always be that way.
Stand outside the parking garage where I work (tech-heavy).
High-end cars (Lexus/Mercedes/BMW, etc) almost exclusively driven by blacks. Middle-level (Chev/Ford/Toyota, etc) almost exclusively driven by Whites/Asians. Wonder who’s putting more into their 401k’s/investments?
Then they better get their ass to work and fix the disparity.
Is this an admission they are inferior and require patronage?
I don’t.
I believe everyone has imbued within them, from the almighty God, to surpass whatever they are today, embracing change and growing into their dreams.

I couldn't believe how modest most of the cars looked. I even wondered if perhaps those people had such high mortgage payments on a $5M+ home that they couldn't afford nice cars. LOL.

I’ve talked in detail to a number of the black “I want it now” types. It’s hard as hell to get them thinking about investments. I’ve succeeded with several, and they are totally amazed several years on what they have in assets. Most, like talking to a wall....
Does anybody else see a veiled gearing up for a push for reparations after the Republicans take over the Senate? What a way to cement the loyalty of the black community by forcing the Republican House and Senate to refuse to pass reparations legislation in the run up to the 2016 elections?
