Republicans will try to make up with conservatives irate over the passage of the “cromnibus” with a new measure in January

*************
They can try all they want. We’ve seen enough of GOP duplicity.

Why do the words ‘3 card Monty’ spring to mind so readily?

And when the President vetoes it, they will say, “well, we tried.” As they hi-5 each other at the successful way they fooled us again.

"So why didn’t they do so? Boehner apparently wants to focus on stopping Obama’s immigration plans, and can now turn all attention to the DHS budget to do so. A 90-day CR would have let Boehner do that too, but it would have forced a fully Republican Congress to produce another massive omnibus bill at the same time."

TOTAL BS!

I'm so very sad that Boehner would have had to "force a fully Republican Congress to produce another massive omnibus bill at the same time." Boo Hoo!!!

Can't we get Boehner and all of his other sell outs to take to the cameras and cry for us, the American taxpayers forced to pay for this BS, telling us that producing another "massive bill" is just too hard and would force them to work a 40 hour work week!

The GOP leadership has completely gone over to the dark side. They must be purged.

Well it worked the last 6 years they did it so why mess with success? Plenty of people will go along with it to avoid admitting to themselves they got scammed.

Then come here bitching about it.

Rules Chairman Pete Sessions said during a panel hearing on the “cromnibus” Wednesday that Republicans plan to bring up legislation ... that would prohibit the president from carrying out his immigration action

Two notes:

1) Yeah, that'll stop Obama. WHOO HOOO.

2) Note that they say they 'plan' to 'bring up'. Not pass. 'Plan' to 'bring up'.

Because Pete Sessions will get his hands on it, I wonder what the amendment will look like when it’s through. It will probably end up saying that the authority to set immigration rules lies completely with the POTUS and will give his carte blanche and unlimited funding forever to do whatever he wants. No one will know about the changes until after it’s passed. They think that we are idiots.

I’m proud of my congressman. He didn’t vote for any of their nonsense. He was one of the 16 that voted against the rule. But it’s going to be very hard for me to pull the lever on anyone with an R next to their name after all of the garbage they’ve pulled.

I wouldn’t bet on it. The RINOs WANT amnesty. They must be defeated.

The GOP always has an EXCUSE not to do something. There is always a crisis that demands they cave. Always. If they won’t defund ObamaCare and Amnesty now they never will.

I am done with the GOP. Every single last one of them.

Republicans have been “had” so many times one would think they would figure out the con game by now. They really are stuck on stupid.
