Kiev. As cited by Itar Tass, Ukraine’s new Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius said on Wednesday the country was in fact a bankrupt. “The state, as a matter of fact, is a bankrupt, so, it is simply unrealistic to expect us to offer real, but not declarative, programmes of motivation,” he said at a session of the Verkhovna Rada /parliament/ committee for economic policy. “Hence, the main thing now is not to impede businesses, and business will put things at rights.” He promised that it would take about two years for Ukraine to be ranked among top 50 countries in the Doing Business rating. “The government’s position is like this: rules for businesses - small, medium-sized and big - should be the same. No business should enjoy preferences, unnecessary privileges, monopolization of entire industries. Our position is to re-regulate this sphere to stop inspections, to cancel licensing that has no sense,” he said.

Who could have thought? It is such a shame that such a good new government, which is so competent and non-corrupt comparing to all the previous governments drove the Ukraine from mediocre to worst? (BTW, their new minister is not even Ukrainian but a EU commissar).

If Ukraine follows through on creating favorable conditions, it will recover.

That I assuming Putin leaves it alone.

“Invasion” is actually good for Ukrainian government.
If not for it they would have had hard time to explain their people why it is all going to a crapper so fast.

Gotta go for vintage porsche if you want to own a car that doesn’t depreciate in value. Try 1973 Porsche 917/30 Can-Am Spyder. But it’s for collectors. Only 4 produced.

~Only an idiot would invade and annex a portion of this country.~

On the other hand, since “the most-depressive”, “vatnik-ridden” and overall hillbilly part of Ukraine is “annexed” what is an obstacle for the progressive rest of Ukraine to thrive?

There are rumors that lo-testosterone metrosexuals and “gays” makes better dancers because testicles are indeed an irritant and unnecessary appendix when engaged is some fabulous dance steps.

Maybe something like that is the case in their situation.

So the real question is who's going to pay for Ukraine's bailout this time around?....Will the US pay $29 billion a year to keep Ukraine afloat?....our annual foreign aid budget is only $31.2 billion in economic assistance and $23.3 billion in military assistance....and we know other countries are going to get their pants in a knot if the US doesn't carry the bulk of this debt.....regardless of how they actually account for it.......Not to mention they also have $17 billion 'due' in minimum debt repayments currently.

Don’t forget the dashcam, so one can capture the vodka-sodden drunks hurling themselves at the front bumper.
