According to his fellow inmates in the Hanoi Hilton McCain never endured torture at the hands of the VC. He capitulated to the enemy long before torture was threatened. His cowardice was clear to all of the men with him who endured torture.

“if given the choice, would he chose the torture the Vietnamese performed, or the “torture” the CIA performed?”

Easy answer... What the CIA did. He would be able to raise his hands above his head and dress himself if that was how he was treated. I don't agree with JohnnieMac but I understand the principal he is espousing. He is free to voice his opinion and try to persuade people to agree with him... even if he is wrong.

"He is free to voice his opinion and try to persuade people to agree with him... even if he is wrong."

Except he isn't just a person voicing his opinion. He is a highly placed representative of our government, and his opinion hinders the efforts of agencies trying to keep us safe in a dangerous world.

No “Miranda warning” if someone is coming straight at you:
whether in your house at 2 am,
or in NYC or LA with a loose nuke in 9 hours.

No time!

McLame has played the “I’ve been tortured” card enough already. HE is a stain.

Can you source that. As much as I dislike this loser/fool I do not doubt the horror he endured in the Hanoi Hilton. Still, he seems to have lost any courage he showed as a prisoner. He is all to eager to sell out his friends and constantly surrender to his democrat wardens.

Well if there's one thing John McCain knows about, it's being a stain.

If there is one thing John McCain knows about it is torture.

When someone has endured what he did, he certainly has a right to an opinion on the subject.
