Sorry, but Rush has been making the point for over a year now that we’ve already lost the country. I truly believe Rush knows it’s time to worry...he just won’t say it. If I were him I’d be scoping out a new life in New Zealand.
Rush always bitches about people doing their fair share in affecting change, and not just relying on him to do the heavy lifting. But when a caller offers optimism and courage and some ideas, he shoots her down. Rush effectively destroyed this lady’s optimism and hope.
I’ve been listening to him say for weeks that we just wholloped them at the polls.

Me too, but he always, without fail, implies that this really doesn’t matter anyway.
I’m listening to less and less of Rush. It’s nothing but a downer anymore. All he does is confirm the nation is already lost.
I’ll guarantee to you that lady (Ruth) got off the phone with Rush completely demoralized. Rush basically put a wet blanket on anything else she might have done in the future to try and save this nation.
