"Voters are stupid" economist Jonathan Gruber and Marilyn Tavenner face Issa and the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee today on C-SPAN 3.

FOX News reports that Tavenner has asked that she be seated anywhere but next to Gruber. Apparently, Gruber is radioactive. Time will tell whether this affliction is covered under Obamacare.

Absolutely, it's both. But Gruber has to protect himself, so he's attempting to wash his hands of the political process (aka Obamacare). And Obama/Cummings/Rats in general, are attempting to wash their hands of Gruber.

What the GOP has to do is to put it all in one neat, tidy package which is basically full of crap and tie it up with a huge red bow (like the one on top of the Lexus). Then tell the American people, this is your Obamacare Christmas gift. Tell the Rats thanks, but not thanks and demand they repeal the thing.

Gruber's approach today is "watching out for number one." He's been thrown under the bus, and I think he holds all the cards to make sure that he's not the only one going under it. If he hand is forced, he'll protect himself for sure. He thinks too highly of himself to take the fall.

Gruber could have gone alone with it and said.. “hey, the only way we could have passed this thing is the way we did it...I wasn’t really part of that... but the truth is we had to deceived the American Public, the CBO and the democrats to pass the bill. Am I proud of my contribution? Hmmm...don’t know. I was paid well, and I gave my input. I guess I’d say yes.”

Instead, why would MIT keep this idiot employed there?

Marilyn Tavenner wanted to give condolences to her and Issa would not allow it which freepers thought was great because Tavenner did not deserve the right to give condolences based on her testimony.

Not so amazing .. C-SPAN3 is not carried by most cable providers .. unless you have a very select group of stations in your package. I can get C-SPAN AND C-SPAN2 but not 3. See how that works.

This way, not everybody can afford to see this. Personally, I don’t care what he said .. he’s a LIAR .. that’s all I have to know about him.

The problem for him was that he chose not to lie when talking to his peers at economic conferences. He certainly lied while working to get Obamacare passed
although he could and would tell others the truth if they were not threat to the Democrat/liberal efforts.But once it passed he no longer thought he had to continue the lies.Now he is lying hand over fist to salvage his career.

Yep. CBS opened with about 5 minutes on the CIA torturing all those nice Arabs and I don’t think they mentioned Gruber. I switched to ABC and there was about a 10 second sentence.

Guess who that is Pajama Boy! Seriously! When the hearing began a democrat wanted Issa to accept Goldman as an additional witness, Issa declined. But when Cummings entered the hearing late, he somehow got Issa to add him to the witness list.
