In addition, on Amazon you’ll see perhaps 10 makes/models of a given item whereas a brick and mortar store might have 1-2 (or none).

#8 If Wal-Mart is smart they would copy Amazon in many areas and as they have actual stores your comment about pickup at the store can be more convenient if you cannot take delivery at home.

Nope, have been unemployed for two years and flat broke. But I understand how investors think and why they would be interested in a company with a history of growth and innovation. Because it is an “investment” and not a one quarter turn around.

Amazon has far more than just shipping items, far more. That is the part that consumers know, on the business side, they have their cloud and storage services, their media services and their kindle service to name a few.
