Krauthammer: Decision not to indict NYPD officer 'totally incomprehensible'

Charles Krauthammer said Wednesday on "Special Report with Bret Baier" that a grand jury's decision not to indict a New York City police officer in the death of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who died in July after the officer placed him in a chokehold, is "totally incomprehensible."

"It looks like they at least might have indicted him on something like involuntary manslaughter at the very least," Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor, said. "The guy was unarmed, and the crime was petty as they come. He was selling loose cigarettes, which in and of itself is almost absurd that somebody has to die over that."

And that case has absolutely nothing to do with this case.

That is a different case. Very wrong.

Just like what happened at Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Not much outcry then. Reno and the Clintons got a pass.

He was obese and had circulatory problems. This was an accidental death. He is responsible for his death.

Let that be a warning to all those with heath issues. Ya better obey.

That includes all the people on oxygen, in wheel chairs and those walkers, which can be easily used as weapons. No excuses, do as you're instructed.

I think most of us would say something like Sorry, sir, if we were stopped for a minor speeding ticket.

If we had had a wee few and were crossing against the light or weaving in the crosswalk we would more or less agree with a cop that grabbed our arm and made us try to walk the line.

There is no point in agressive argument with any cop and these gigantic hoodlums should have had someone to better educate them, but they are no doubt victims of the Great Single Mom Society and have thus not had real speak. “Son, you are a very big man and you have to always obey laws so as folks will not think you are a huge animal and difficult to restrain.”

Of course, this only pertains to current street encounters and does not deal with Obummer’s cops storming one’s home or neighborhoods where anyone could deal with thus invaders appropriately.

Not speaking would lend more evidence to the choking allegation.

But he did speak.

I never said it had anything to do with this case. Sick of Libs comments reminded me of the Thomas case, albeit it was more extreme of course. I was just wondering if he’d heard about it is all.

Well, I have health issues.

I suffered a heart attack at 39, I take blood pressure medicine, statins, and I’m diabetic.

I wouldn’t be selling loose cigarettes on the street corner for one.

And for two, if a police officer told me that I’m under arrest, I’d turn around, place my hands behind my back in order to facilitate his or her cuffing me, and I’d be arrested.

I don’t try to fight police, I’m not an idiot.

Because the perp was resisting arrest weighing over 300lbs.

No doubt he blubbered to deatt on his fat..

Meanwhile in Ferguson whites have been asualted and killed by those precious
demonstrators and not one word or peep about these events.
Meanwhile in Chicago murder rate is 90% instigated by Afro-Blacks. It’s
out of control.Any cop will tell you these perps instigate forceful actions
in hope of landing the lawsuit lottery.

But we cannot talk about Black brutality, no, no, no.

Talk to your cop on the beat and he’ll tell you rules of engagement favor the perp.

I heard the guy had Asthma and heart problems - how was the cop supposed to know that - Sadly I think the same sort of entitlement that Michael Brown had also got this guy killed. He thought he was entitled to sell cigarettes illegally and protested when Police wanted to arrest him. He knew it was illegal. I don’t understand the mentality that says yes I was doing something wrong but you are wrong to arrest me. If he had put his “Hands up” he might still be alive. He was committing a crime he resisted arrest and died because of it.

“Krauth is a fool.”

He may be right or he may be wrong but Krauthammer is no fool. He could put an intellectual choke hold on you that would have you out cold in a matter of seconds.

Man died of a choke hold. Choke hold are considered under the law to be lethal force. Someone I arrested a puppy thief that accused me of using a choke hold and that became a serious issue. Witnesses said I never got near the idiot’s neck so that went away, but it left me the knowledge that choke holds are considered lethal force.

“So you’re saying they should keep a reserve of 6’ 8” police officers on hand for guys like this.”

Years back a cop had a height requirement for this very reason. Now we let donut dollies be cops.

“You start letting him sell cigarettes unregulated, what happens next? Then others do the same thing. Pretty soon it’s all over town that folks can sell cigarettes on the street with impunity.

Is that how things are supposed to work?

Yes. Why is government restricting commerce?

Was he inhaling or exhaling when he said “I can’t breath”?

A boa constrictor tightens it’s grip every time it’s pray exhales. They kill without damaging the trachea or neck bones.

What if the man had said “I’m not getting enough air”? “Oh, he’s still ‘breathing’, so don’t let him up”?

“He died of cardiac arrest” is the same as saying he died because his heart stopped.

Why did his heart stop? Put enough weight on someone’s chest and they will stop breathing, no matter how fit they are.
