Homeland Security officials wasted little time in ramping up for President Obamas amnesty, posting 1,000 job openings the day after his announcement and announcing it already has space for hundreds of employees at a new space in Arlington, Virginia an indication that it had laid its plans well before Mr. Obama said.
And even though Mr. Obama said his policy is temporary, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is hiring the employees for permanent positions, at salaries of up to $157,000 a year, according to the job postings listed on the official federal jobs website.
A number of the job openings were posted the day after that Nov. 20 announcement and those postings have already expired, suggesting the agency has already filled some of the slots.

I have no idea what DHS's numbers are, but the relevant subcommittees in both the House and Senate should have been notified of any major reprogramming, and ultimately the Congress would have to approve an expansion. Unless it is entirely lawless ... not that I expect the courts to enforce anything againt this crowd.
I don’t know about the manning in CIS. It seems extreme to hire 1000 new employees even if you wanted to process these requests. What is the rest of CIS doing. They never hired a 1000 more doctors for the VA., but then again Vets don’t usually vote democrat party.
