Senate Republicans had no appetite for discussing how to thwart President Obama’s executive orders on immigration during the conference’s weekly lunch, according to a source familiar with the meeting.
Senator Mike Lee (R., Utah) and Senator David Vitter (R., La.) tried to broach the topic, but were ignored.
“At different times, Lee and Vitter stood up and tried to begin a discussion about what the plan was and asked leadership about what their strategy was to deal with the spending bill and respond to Obama executive amnesty, and the reply was always an effort to try to change the subject to the ozone rule from the EPA or some other issue, and it was just bizarre,” the source said.

Why can’t the Republican Conservatives in Congress at least put up a fight? Why did Senators Lee and Vitter simply allow themselves to be ignored at the Republican luncheon meeting?
The time has come for Ted Cruz and his Conservative colleagues to take it, if not to the streets, at least to the microphones.

The new Congress isn’t seated until January 2015. Things may be a little bit better then.

the rino/gop-e plan is to win and take over the existing structure and rule the way obama is now, citing obama as precedent. they let him do this, now they will do it.

About a year ago I nicknamed her “The Nail.”
Because as far as I’m concerned if she makes it to the WH she will be the last nail in this nation’s coffin.
Congress is not yet, but soon will be Republican-controlled.
Republicans obviously do not control the Presidency.
The courts are the third branch. I am not sure that Republicans control there.
So, Republicans soon will control one-third of the federal government.
