Veterans don’t receive anything for free..they sacrificed and earned it..
Easy. Pay it off in 30 years (a la mortgage) via $5.50 per person per day.
The hard parts are:
- _everyone_ has to pay up $5.50 _every_ day ($2000/yr).
- that’s a positive $5.50/day, not “refundable tax credits” or such.
- “stop digging”.
Remember though - The National Debt is offset by the National Credit. You can’t look at only one side of the coin.
We should be more concerned with the Trade Deficit and the Budget Deficit. That would be a start to reducing any “net” National Debt we may owe.
IIRC, Iceland did exactly that.
Round up every executive from Goldman Sachs.....
Coincidentally, I read somewhere that what the gubmint has spent in 50 years of the war on poverty is roughly equal to the debt. It seems pretty obvious to me what we have to get rid of to get our debt under control.

10. Sell huge swaths of government land to private citizens and businesses.
11. Stop sending billions to certain countries with questionable loyalties.
12. TRULY CUT the entire federal government staff by 50%. Just do it and re-organize (including the staff of all elected officials).
13. Repeal Obamacare
Sell California.
All good. Especially getting rid of the many worthless Federal bureaucracies.
Also, I’d cut existing federal salaries & pensions by 30% and issue EBT cards to ONLY those who cannot work for some valid reason.

File bankruptcy. As Denise Miller said, “F** ‘em. Don’t pay ‘em”. Foreign nations have gotten plenty they never deserved out of us.
Stop all the welfare, it is illegal anyway.
Cut all foreign military spending such as “defending” South Korea. Just how long are they supposed to go without defending themselves for crying out loud??!! I think 60 years has been long enough!
Cut out all corporate taxes to increase investments in America.
Dissolve the EPA and replace it with a organization limited to public pollution only.
Dissolve the “Education” and the “Energy” departments completely.
Dissolve the Coast Guard and replace its critical functions with the Navy (Yes, the CG has very critical functions like maintaining shipping lanes), eliminating the massive executive overhead of running the CG.
Return to the gold standard.
Change the law that has allowed “Emergency” operations of the government since, what, 1921? This has allowed such things as running a national debt.
Eliminate Congress completely. It appears that it cannot and will not protect the people’s liberties and has relegated itself to pencil whipping budgets. We don’t need it anymore. It is a useless waste of taxpayer funds.
Eliminate the IRS and the 16th Amendment.
Eliminate all federal holdings of “parks” and “forests”. The federal government was never supposed to own any land within the States.
Cut out illegal imports the State Department has been paid off to allow. Return to US production, screw the idiot public that thinks cheaper products are better for the country. How can they buy those cheaper products if they don’t have jobs??? Morons.
Get rid of the other 5 inhabited holdings like the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. It they are not States we don’t need to continue allowing federal holding of them.
Stop all immigration for 50 years and enforce current immigration laws, deporting or self-deporting 20+ million invading freeloaders. We stopped immigration nearly completely from 1924 to 1964. It worked great.
Drill, baby, drill! We have lots of natural resources to sell off to tax.
Chang the Commerce Clause to be restricted to only taxation and importation between the States, thereby neutering 99% of the federal government’s usurped powers, including the federal restriction on selling medical insurance policies between States.
Man, I could go on and on.....
The solution's simple: return to the gold standard, tell the Fed F- You, declare the debt to the fed as invalid and fraudulent, prosecute the fed (from chairman to stockholders to janitor).
Now the question as to if we have the will to do such is different altogether.
I would triple the income taxes of every lipstick liberal who voted for this garbage. All Democrats would get a HUGE tax increase. For the Children, of course....
So WHY would a guy named Hussein Obama lead an insane spending explosion that will eventually cause an economic collapse of America?
Are you waiting for the presstitutes to tell you WHY Hussein is doing everything he can to destroy the US?
Are you waiting for your elected representatives to tell you why Hussen Obama is going to enslave all Americans in an economic hell?
