The left has to promote the lie of black victimhood. Otherwise they would have to start looking at the failure of their socialist programs.

George Soros was perfectly correct when he advised the left to get control of the media and then helped provide the necessary seed money to get started. If “advertising” doesn’t work why are there so many commercials on TV,Radio and in print? Huh???

‘Meet The Press’ runs a four liberal table - sometimes five - against one conservative. When the conservative speaks the thug gang of elite liberals starts kicking, punching and shouting him down.

It’s sickening.

Chuck Todd’s better than this crap. I assume Todd has the balls to allow two conservatives at the table. They’d still be outnumbered... but not as badly. He should try it sometimes.. Diversity of thought is important... Really.

Rush is very late to the party on this topic. The “false narrative” has been a major tool of Marxist radicals for years. What’s new IMO is the near-total co-option of the media. They’ve tilted strongly Left for years but now there’s no longer even a pretense of objectivity. Of course the main problem is the ignorance and gullibility of people who believe the media swill. Bread, circuses and a couple of generations of “educational” indoctrination have apparently done the trick.

What America is missing:

John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The left has to promote the lie of black victimhood. Otherwise they would have to start looking at the failure of their socialist programs.
Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.
But there are other versions of that. The humorous one is,
Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and he’ll spend all his time in a boat drinking beer.

And here is the applicable version:
Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to practice on the other man’s insecurity, and he will get fed for a lifetime without having to lift a finger.
You can prattle all day about “education” - and any liberal will - but the reality is that you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink. If everyone around him is demanding that he not “break the curve” by “acting white” then the chances are he will end up being proud of not knowing how to fish.

You could tell what the Media’s agenda was when the repeatedly described a 300 lb thug as an “unarmed teenager.”

The Media WANTED violence.

Unarmed my foot. That thug’s 6’4” height and 300 lbs weight were his weapons

Rush Limbaugh:

In other words, it is power that defines the truth. The truth does not define itself. Facts do not define themselves. That power. And this immediately -- I don't know why, but that made a connection with me. All things are relative, and it is people with power who interpret events as they choose them to be -- in this case, reported. I think this is a great way to understand modern American media. The truth is what they say it is. They've got the power to define it. They have the power to implement it. They have the power to destroy the truth. They have the power to define it whatever they want it to be.

And I think when you watch the media, and one of the great sources of frustrations I feel and I'm guessing a lot of you do, too, is that the truth seems to have no power whatsoever. The truth seems to have no impact whatsoever with an entire political party in this country and everybody who buys into that political party. And then we're left with, "Okay, well, what do we do when the truth doesn't matter?"

Heard Rush today when he said that and he is right on target.

But what he's talking about didn't start in the US as recently as 2002 or 2003. Truth lost out to power consistently in the Clinton years, epitomized by the Democrats and media covering up the rubout of Vincent Foster as a "suicide."

Of course, things like that were going on in Arkansas during WJC's governorship there as one can infer by the introduction of the term "Arkancide."

On a less deadly level, for at least 100 years, leftists in power have been perpetrating lies to sell their otherwise unpopular government programs to a skeptical public. One of the most infamous of these instances was the New Deal's characterization of Social Security as "old age insurance."

I listened in to Rush today for about half an hour.

During that half hour he touched on Conservative truisms you won’t hear anywhere else. Rush has a great mind. To deliver what he does day in and day out over the decades, you’ve got to be on the top of your game.

I would urge folks to listen to him. I know he doesn’t always get it (see eye to eye with us), but it’s amazing to listen to him when he does.

And frankly folks, he gets it most of the time.

The part I listened to today was brilliant.

Nice little pun there. The two have more in common than "insurance": They are both unsustainable Ponzi schemes (unless they are significantly modified) and inevitably lead to government bankruptcy. Plus, individual freedom of the citizen is lost with both of them.
