One would think that a communications director
would know how to phrase a critique. On the other hand the girls seem to not
have a mother figure for guidance.Nor a White House communications director
to prevent their outrageous behavior from public view.
Yours is a point on point. Let me add to it. Critics should pick their battles a LOT more strategically instead of whimpering about so many, albeit annoying, but wholly trivial aspects of Obama. We should focus on demanding good legislation on the economy and taxes and immigration, instead of picking apart things that do not matter. The EPA and other bureaucracies. The IRS. DoD. Benghazi, if you like. The deleterious effects of global warming actions by the administration. These are the issues that truly matter. Aren’t they?
So. What does this woman do? A communications director? Who can’t foresee the firestorm that will surely come? Over a turkey sideshow? She throws away a career over teen behavior over a turkey? Hey, Malia wins. Another Obama wins!
Come on. This woman deserves to lose her job. The fact that she apologized shows she is weak as well as stupid. Case in point. Giuliani. He raised a firestorm of his own. Knowingly. And did not apologize. Brains and courage
As one FReeper pointed out, she might have made her remark here. Anonymously. Where so many others carry their torches for quixotic, trivial causes. People. Don’t defend stupidity. Pick your battles. Oh, and grow up.
Conservatives who refuse to debate strategically are no better than Progressives who thrive on dumpsters of trivia and do their best to drag conservatives into a dumpster rumble over trivia. We’re in danger of losing our good will with Americans even before we seat our majority in the Senate.
How I would love to see this site’s posters and commenters dig into the issues instead of the emotions of every little burp and giggle from the Obamas. Conservatives can win on issues. They’ve proven that. On emotions, not so much.
Begin the lynching.
