No mention of border in the NY Times' employee's typings that I could find. Some disturbing confessions about how his family attempted to enter illegally -- if I understood correctly.

If I read this BLS study (below) correctly the labor force participation increases for 55 and older, Asians, and Hispanic origins. The rest stays nearly the same or declines. What do we need millions and millions more for? Again no mention of borders that I could find. So he's inviting in tens of millions more in addition to the "11" million already here?

ILLEGAL immigration exploded under the Clintons

This shows the accumulation of some 255 million no-matches in the Social Security Earnings Suspense File (ESF). These are the no-matched W-2, suspended wage data in the Earnings Suspense File (ESF); it exploded under Clinton. Employers submitted annual wage data to SS and this shows invalid SSN's (bogus / stolen) in those W-2 forms.

It's from a report to Congress (as of 2003, Here).

I tested the link it no longer links to a pdf file with the graphic but the wording seems to be unaffected.

Thanks for the info. Bush 41 approved a doubling of our legal immigration quotas approaching 1 million. He was also lax on enforcement. The 1986 amnesty also prompted a surge of illegals.

There is no doubt that Clinton also was lax but Bush 43 was even worse. In 1996, just before the elections, Clinton and Gore presided over a major program to naturalize hundreds of thousands of green card holders in time for them to vote.

The Democrats want more immigration because they import Dem voters. 87% of the legal immigrants are minorities as defined by the USG. They are incentivized to identify with their minority status because of affirmative action and minority business set asides. Minorities and immigrants vote more than two to one Democrat. Evens though our country is being destroyed by mass immigration, the Dems care less as long as their partisan interests are served.

Unfortunately, too many Americans have been brainwashed. They buy into the meme that we are a nation of immigrants and that legal immigration is an unquestioned good. Most do not even know how many legal immigrants are entering each year. Unless, we reduce legal immigration, the country is finished and the Dems will be the permanent majority party. Immigration is transforming this country. Amnesty just hastens the process a little.
