Michael Brown’s Mother Under Investigation For Assaulting People Selling T-Shirts In Son’s Name

Lesley McSpadden, the mother of slain teen Michael Brown, could be facing jail time for reportedly attacking people selling t-shirts that read “Justice for Michael Brown.”

A police report obtained by The Smoking Gun identified McSpadden as one of a group of people who physically attacked people who were selling the t-shirts. The report also claims that the attackers stole cash and merchandise from the vender.

The incident happened back in October, but this week the Ferguson police department said that the investigation remains open.

The case appears to have some twists. As Mediaite pointed out, one of the people allegedly selling the t-shirts is Pearlie Gordon, the mother-in-law of Brown’s father. McSpadden allegedly told the woman, “You can’t sell this [expletive],” and then attacked Gordon when she refused to stop.

The report went on to say that as many as 30 people were involved in the attack:

Gordon was then repeatedly struck in the back and left side of the head by an unknown subject(s). Gordon stated there were 20-30 unknown subjects tearing her booth apart, and she was knocked to the ground. Gordon heard McSpadden yell to an unknown subject ‘that’s Caluina’s mom, get her ***.’ McSpadden then ran up and punched Gordon. A subject believed to be Keyanna Ewings also assaulted Gordon by punching her. Cosey and Petty were assaulted by unknown subjects during the incident. Over $1500.00 in merchandise (shirts and afghans) and a suitcase containing at least $400 in cash was stolen by unknown subjects. The suspects then fled the scene prior to police arrival.

McSpadden has taken a very public stance during the grand jury proceedings that ultimately failed to indict police officer Darren Wilson for Brown’s death. She has spoken out several times about the case, recently saying that what happened to her son could have happened to anyone.

McSpadden also said she was crushed to learn that the grand jury failed to indict Wilson.

“We heard this and it was just like, like I had been shot. Like you shoot me now — just no respect, no sympathy, nothing,” she told CNN’s Sunny Hostin on Wednesday. “This could be your child. This could be anybody’s child.”

It is unclear what type of punishment Michael Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden could face for the alleged assault and robbery.

Apparently she isn’t too thrilled at others cutting into her action?

She needs a nickname. “Gentle Giant” seems to be already taken. Gentle... something else. It’ll come to me.

How dare they.

Doesn’t Al Sharpton own the Michael Brown copyright?

Nobody else should be profiting from this.

So then the cop says, don't walk in the middle of the street...

Another story in which there is no one too cheer for.

Seems like these days there are more and more tales with no good folks at all involved.

Hey, so did the SA back in the day.

After all, the dispute seems to be over who has the right to 'Brown shirts'.

Her “attorney” will make sure she gets her “cut”. And, she will be sure to put her “cut” to good use, just like rodney did. And, golllllaaaaay, “daddy” showed up just in time to get his.
