Sadie Robertson Gives “All Glory To God” After Dancing With The Stars Finale

Sadie Robertson and the Duck Dynasty clan said their goodbyes to Dancing with the Stars after finishing second to actor Alfonso Riberio, better known as Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

On Sadie’s Instagram, she posted a message thanking everyone for the experience and wanted to give “all glory to God” for the time on the show.

Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas performed well in their last dance and earned a perfect score of 40. But even the perfect score was not enough to land them the “glitter ball” trophy as Riberio took it home.

After their performance, the judges had nothing but praise for the young 17-year-old and her dance partner:

“Your personality is so bubbly, so vivacious, your charm always shines through in everything you do. Mark has really done a fantastic job in making you look like a dancing princess,” judge Bruno Tonioli said.

“Yours is the Cinderella story,” judge Len Goodman said. “You came to the ball, having never danced, you met the handsome prince charming. And you’re leaving a dancing princess.”

“Sadie, I think you’re an excellent role model and a representation of what youth should be today,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. “You’re clean, you’re elegant, you have the light, everything about you, I love.”

“I hope that you are so proud of yourself because y0u have come so far from week one and I know your family is proud,” judge Julianne Hough said. “I know Mark is extremely proud, we’re very proud, you’re beautiful, you’ve grown so much and we love you.”

Grandpa Phil disapproved and thinks Willie has gone “Hollywood”.

But Sadie did do a great job.

Dancing with the stars is just so much BarbraStreisand.

Until they level the playing field, the outcomes have zero credibility!!

The 'winner' comes to the show with his entire 'star' life in the entertainment field, including DANCE.

Sadie Robertson (and the other 2 finalists) comes to the show with ZERO dance experience!!

REALLY, was there ever any doubt that the 'winner' wasn't destined to be a finalist, and the 'probable' winner.

SERIOUSLY...this is a supposed to be 'level' selection of candidates?!?

It is entertainment and like every other show of this type it has nothing to do with talent, but of popularity. Don’t take it too serious.

I wish it were true; just entertainment, not to be taken seriously! REALLY, even when it so obvious in the beginning who will, and who will not, be there in the end - the sponsors must be taking it seriously - given that the two shows a week when down to one per week this season.

She’s a cute little rascal with some talent and a good head on her shoulders.

What mom and dad wouldn’t be proud of her?

Just like the season when Bristol Palin lost to Jennifer Grey.

That’s what I came here to post!!! Alfonso is a great dancer, of course, since he’s been a professional dancer for most of his life. Commercials, Broadway, TV.....

I was rooting for Michale Waltrip, but he can't make right turns.

I agree...how is it fair that a professional dancer beats someone who has never danced?

In effect, Sadie won.

I wasn't aware of this.

Alfonso Lincoln Ribeiro, Sr. (born September 21, 1971) is an American actor, television director, dancer, and game show host. Ribeiro is most notably known for playing Alfonso Spears on the sitcom Silver Spoons, and Carlton Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, he hosted the GSN show Catch 21 and the ABC Family show Spell-Mageddon. He also starred in the title role of the Broadway musical The Tap Dance Kid, and appeared as a dancer in a Pepsi commercial also featuring Michael Jackson.[1]

Sadie was robbed. Jack.

No question Alfonso can dance - he was great to watch but it wasn’t a fair “contest”.

I have to wonder how the contestants feel about signing up when they are competing against professional dancers? But they all say it was a wonderful experience and I suppose winning isn’t everything.

It’s decent money....

“$125,000 for signing, three weeks of rehearsal before the premiere and competing in the first two episodes, even if the cast member is cut after the first dance.” After that, they get “$10,000 an episode for Weeks 3 and 4, $20,000 an episode for Weeks 5 and 6, $30,000 an episode for Weeks 7 and 8, and $50,000 an episode for the final two weeks.” Sometimes the show goes beyond Week 10, so that would extend the pay.

No way they let a Christian girl win that show. She did well, though, and is a credit to herself and her family.
