I am surprised that there aren’t more gun fights on the streets. If I lived in the area and were confronted, I’d defend myself with deadly force if necessary.

I was on a flight from Atlanta connecting in Kansas City on through to Salt Lake and a shop in the airport was selling T-shirts that read “Leavenworth, A Gated Community”.
