Breitbart ^ | 26 Nov 2014 | Tony Lee

Former Massachusetts Governor and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney believes Republicans should "swallow hard" and pass a permanent amnesty bill in the wake of President Barack Obama's executive amnesty that even Romney conceded would encourage more illegal immigrants to enter the country.

A country without borders is, well, not a country at all.

I will not vote for a GOP candidate who is for Open Borders. If that means I do not vote for a POTUS for 2016 so be it.

Maybe the conservatives who went fishing on Election Day 2012 did the right thing. If Romney were president, both the Gang of Eight amnesty bill and the gun control bill that stalled in Congress last year would now be law.

What needed to be done was to enforce existing law and protect our borders. Why wasn’t mitt and these other republicans such as boehner, barbour, mcconell calling for enforcement years ago. Republicans aided the democrats by passing the last amnesty and NEVER intended to enforce laws or protect borders. Now to fix it mitt is calling for them to pass an amnesty law? how will that fix anything? As far as democrats and illegals are concerned obama already fixed it. The FIX would be to stop and / or overide obama’s illegal amnesty order, enforce existing immigration law, protect our borders and start deportations. I don’t really care if romney wants to commit suicide, I do care that he wants to make it a national event for all of us, he can experience all the third world glory he wants by moving to Hati without involving me and my family. Why an overwhelming GOP victory of historic proportions seems to go over the heads of Rinos.

***********

It was not so much a victory as it was a repudiation. The GOP basically won by default. It wasn’t a vote for the GOP; rather it was a vote against the Dems. It was tantamount to cheering for the other team because your own team is so bad.

The GOP is a soulless party. What does it really stand for? Seriously, does anyone have any idea? People are just not boarding the GOP train yet because they don’t know where its heading, and neither do the conductors for that matter.

“And mark my words, the Repubs will try to give us another milquetoast candidate again.”

Hasn’t romney already mentioned that jeb bush would make a good president? I hope romney doesn’t have anything good to say about Senator Cruz.

Wow. And I thought Jeb Bush's Presidential campaign was short.

Glad this one's over with, too.

Well I didn’t support nor vote for him last time and I see I made a wise choice. Romney, Rove {who thinks he’s Mr GOP}, McCain, Graham, Boehner, McConnell, etc. are examples of why the GOP will never be fixed working in the party.

These friggin' "open boarder", "amnesty for all" idiots are killing, or have already killed, our country!

Milton Friedman said that you can have open borders or you can have the welfare state, but you cannot have both. Here’s a video where he says this:

This just shows you where the GOP-e is. They're all for open borders and they know damned well it will destroy the wage scale of the middle class. I wish I could find the recent quote by none other than Bill Clinton speaking on amnesty. He said something like, "Of course workers do better in a tight labor market..." , meaning he knows the constant supply of cheap labor is keeping wages low.

Dihmocrats and GOP-e are just two sides of the same coin, they're both managing the decline, one just wants a steeper glide slope than the other.

Not sure any bills are needed but if they want to just pass something how about passing a bill that just focuses on controlling / fencing the border.
