Former Massachusetts Governor and failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney believes Republicans should "swallow hard" and pass a permanent amnesty bill in the wake of President Barack Obama's executive amnesty that even Romney conceded would encourage more illegal immigrants to enter the country.

Any type of amnesty begins with a limited number of people who have been productive, been here for a considerable period of time, paid taxes, and not been living on taxpayer money. I beg to differ. I think you have swallowed some of the leftist propaganda e.g. We can't deport millions & millions blah blah blah; so, we must amnesty some blah blah blah.
I would suggest you turn the argument on its head e.g. we can't import millions & millions blah blah blah... Well if we cant import millions & millions then HOW did they get here?
In other words, the premise that it is America's task to round up & deport all the illegals in some set period of time is a flawed premise. There is no either this or that legitimate argument that bypasses the rule of law and the enforcement thereof...
I would suggest that all the illegals who funded their own passage here & planned such can just as well do the reverse without a big government hand IF.... America simply secures the border & enforces the immigration laws -ALL the immigration laws. Doing this will see an eventual decrease in illegals. There is no time limit for success nor a time limit reason to not start doing the right thing right now! When there is nothing here for illegals, INCLUDING the dream of some future amnesty, they will go away. In my opinion, amnesty now real or even potential will only increase the amount of illegals... America must send a clear message NO MORE DAMN AMNESTIES, NOW OR EVER AGAIN!

But there was no box on the ballot for against. There were however boxes for more conservative options.
To date, no one has shown where Obama is worse. People say that to ease their conscience but no proof of the assertion exists. Romney has eventually come out supporting every single position Obama holds. Every one. After denying/campaigning against that very thing.
