Customers could be advised not to hold or carry the phone near the body while using the device, and directed to consult the manual to learn the “recommended separation distance” between the phone and one’s body.

There are a lot of people in Berkeley that receive signals even if they don’t have a telephone.

I think that everybody in Berkeley should give up phones of all kinds. Also internet access. Except Robin of Berkeley. The world would be a lot better off.

This is the first move. The second move is to ban cell phones.

Berkley finds new ways to move even further left.

Won’t it be kind of hard to use the device while not holding or carrying it near the body???

One would think with billions of hours of cell phone use with literally billions of people....somewhere along the line there would be empirical evidence cell phone radiation would be a health hazard....

Only in la la land of Berkerly is this even is a issue...

Tin foil hats make a comeback.
A quart of soda between ones ear and the phone will negate any adverse effects. But, by all means, DO NOT OPEN THE SODA!

“Customers could be advised not to hold or carry the phone near the body while using the device,”

Tie a string to it and drag it on the ground 8 feet behind you.

Trade with a friend.

He carries yours; you carry his.

Yours is far from your body, as is his.

Problem solved, using glorious Berkley logic.

This is hogwash ... Cellphones might emit some tiny bit of radiation, but that’s nothing compared to what a Navy Fire Control radar kicks out, and those radars don’t have any visible effect upon near-by seagulls.
