In the interview, published on Ebony's website Nov. 13, Hunt asked if the singer had seen the surveillance video allegedly showing Brown stealing cigarillos from a local convenience story and pushing a store employee.
"It looked very bully-ish; that in itself I had a problem with," he said. "Not with the kid, but with whatever happened in his life for him to arrive at a place where that behavior is OK. Why aren’t we talking about that?"

The store owner was not the one who called police. A customer did. The store guy probably knew what would happen to a "snitch". As it was, the store was looted and burned.
Of course, somebody got to Pharrell and made him “get his mind right”, hence his comments after the verdict.

“Hate whitey” is acceptable code in leftist circles. It really means, “If you belong to an approved tribe, you may hate everyone not in your approved tribe, and you may also hate tribal members deemed to be ‘inauthentic.’”
I grant you that if you are brought up in a bad neighborhood, with a bad culture, with bad parents, you are starting life with many handicaps. Ultimately, though, the 'kid', or person, needs to make his own decisions.
Well for the typical celebrity at least he’s acknowledging that his behavior was not ok. So maybe there’s still some hope for him. It’s at least better than 99.9% of the other comments from celebrity idiots.

I don’t think that is true. A customer called the police.
We have been trying to have that conversation but black people don't want to hear the truth so they shut down any whites especially as not understanding the troubles they've seen. And any blacks that dare say "hey pull up your pants, go to school, stay with that baby that you created"...they're just called uncle toms or told they're acting white and mocked.
