Good for them. They don't need to take medicine, they just need to take care of themselves and avoid things that compromise their immune system.

Finding a “cure” or a “vaccine” for this disease only gives them more time to infect others.
These are very expensive drugs with a fairly strict regimen, although not as strict as it used to be. That requires a funding source and a sense of self-discipline. Not everyone who wants to, can, and not everyone who can, wants to. And even the most nominally successful treatments still have a 4% risk of communicability. The sad fact is that the people who have the most at stake in taking this thing seriously, aren’t.
I have a question that’s off topic here ..... if you get a blood transfusion from someone who has herpes will you get herpes too?
HIV is a huge problem facing America’s inner city black population and we ignore it. The virus is breeding in prisons and then is introduced into the heterosexual population - big time.
