NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Interstate 24 has been shut down near LP Field as a large group of protesters converged on the streets of downtown Nashville.
Several hundred people took to the street Tuesday night, one day after a grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
What initially began as a vigil gathering, soon turned into a demonstration with protesters forcing the closure of James Robertson Bridge and I-24 near LP Field.

Updating again now and they've finally convinced the protesters to move.
They should have just let traffic keep moving. Those semis barreling down on them would have cleared the crowd off the road. LOL!

My son and daughter in law are driving through Nashville today. I believe they are past this spot.

This isn’t a spontaneous “grass roots” SOB story about Brown. This crapfest is being organized by somebody or some thing with an agenda. An anti-American agenda.

I feel for the folks who do live there, or who are travelling through. This bunch has been disrupting all night. At least they haven’t gotten violent. . . . . . yet.
Hope it stays that way.
You know all the protests are probably being organized by people from within the WH. It wouldn’t surprise me one iota...

Yep. Saw a post on Facebook today from a guy who lives there who said the first fire (the police car) was lit by a white guy wearing an Occupy mask. They probably bussed them in from Chicago. And we all paid for it, of course. They just needed someone to get the party started so all the locals could then jump in once they saw the cops weren’t going to do anything.
Pulling this crap tomorrow with all the holiday traveling could lead to some real road rage incidents.
