The fire department should have been called out before the first fire erupted....if you hose those jackasses down with a high pressure fire hose, their enthusiasm for violence fades in a hurry. They could have set up a perimeter, protected the firemen with police and National guard and SOAKED the business area completely.....at 35o they wouldn’t have lasted long...

Let us speak frankly about the so called rioters in Ferguson. They are nothing other than thugs and thieves. They stole liquor and hair extensions and cell phones. They burned buildings just for the fun of it. They were and are a mob gone wild. They are no better than feral pigs running in the woods
What they need to do is wall off the area from law-abiding citizesn. Let 'em starve.

It is eye opening and sobering when one finally realizes just how pervasive the racism and hatred is in the Black community.
The scary thing is that I’m not sure it will ever change considering the fact that they seem oblivious to the plank in their own eye.
The only thing I’m wondering about is why there weren’t hundreds of dead rioters in the streets. There should have been.

Honest dialogue in the black community would really help here, save young lives - not to mention the entire neighborhood! But, nooo, can’t have that, doesn’t fit the liberal agenda and foment chaos.
Any black who wants to be honest about things doesn't have a chance of getting near a microphone.

Similar types of “conditioning” apply in so many situations.
For example, an elderly woman I know well has been supported very well by her ex-husband (that’s not me, BTW) throughout her adult life. She did work occasionally, to have extra spending money, but did not invest any money for the future. Now, with both her and her ex well into their 80’s, she expects her ex to include her substantially in his will, so she can go on comfortably if he dies before her (likely.) Her ex has other priorities (his sister, his children, etc.) She says (to paraphrase) “How can I take care of my nice house” (allotted to her in the old divorce settlement) “if I don’t get a big P.O.D.?” Yet, used to always living in a nice home, she also thinks her husband should go to the nicest & most expensive retirement home in the area, when the time comes, even though that will drain her ex’s resources rapidly. She’s not a bad person at all, and overall quite intelligent, but she cannot understand any other way of looking at the situation.
It’d make a good day’s study in the “Psychology of Entitlements” chapter of Psychology 101.
Rudy Giuliani had it right. These are criminal arsonists and it has nothing to do with any concern for anyone but their own sorry desire to pillage, loot, and burn.
It would be nice if the LSM would tell the truth instead of continuing to spread the discredited lies of Brown's friend in crime and others. His lies have been reported numerous times today as a “disinterested eye witness testimony that discredits the officer's testimony”.
Not to mention the so called legal experts totally distorting the Grand Jury process, as if it was some conspiracy to keep the officer from being indicted. The reason for the “ham sandwich” meme is because the rules disfavor the defendant.

Hi, greeneyes. You’re right on each point, and I am not unaware of that reality: “doesn’t fit liberal agenda” and “foment chaos” – short version of what you wrote.
“Honest” - no jesse jackson or other race card pimps or baiters; based on facts of the case, not allowing distortions to stand (I know! butt it would be nice).
“dialogue” – a discussion to resolve the grave problems that exist within the black community.
“in the black community” – no lsm or other outside agitators, but those who are affected and, yes, heartbroken, by the violence and chaos: eg, those who gave honest testimony to the grand jury in their ironic search for justice against all odds*, Natalie DuBose, and the resident interviewed in the newsclip in this article (does she have to go into hiding now for speaking the truth on CNN?).
… as Jesse Peterson**, Allen West, Ben Carson, Mia Love, Bill Cosby, Mad Dads, and others within the black community have been arguing in various ways for years.
