The city can not enact gun control legislation. That is the sole purview of the state of CA. This silliness will be turned over in days.

The outlaws of Los Angeles are very, very happy.

The bastards just don't understand the meaning of “shall not be infringed.” There should be now gun laws or AMMO laws because they would, by definition, infringe on the right to bear arms given to us by the 2nd amendment.

Look up the 2nd Amendment. The state cannot make a law that infringes on the right to bear arms. A Constitutional Amendment is necessary to change an existing amendment.

I know the the 2nd Amendment says. I was pointing out that the CITY is violating a STATE law. There is lots of crappy law on the books that needs to be overturned. Most of it based on the interstate commerce clause. Bad laws can be made overnight. It takes years to get them off the books via the judicial process. Getting them repealed legislatively is the best approach...if the legislators weren't owned by leftist lobbyists.

Great!
The city has eliminated the onerous requirement of having a warrant to search search the sales databases and now requires the business to send sales data to them at all times.
Not having to get a warrant before collecting data is so much easier!

The Constitution does not give rights. It recognizes and protects natural rights that already exist. Don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise.

Yes indeed, you are correct. To continue the Founder’s thoughts, these rights come from our Creator and are included in “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” That is why they already exist. Thank you.
