Attorney General Eric Holder released this statement after news came down that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri:
“While the grand jury proceeding in St. Louis County has concluded, the Justice Department’s investigation into the shooting of Michael Brown remains ongoing. Though we have shared information with local prosecutors during the course of our investigation, the federal inquiry has been independent of the local one from the start, and remains so now. Even at this mature stage of the investigation, we have avoided prejudging any of the evidence. And although federal civil rights law imposes a high legal bar in these types of cases, we have resisted forming premature conclusions.
“Michael Brown’s death was a tragedy. This incident has sparked a national conversation about the need to ensure confidence between law enforcement and the communities they protect and serve. While constructive efforts are underway in Ferguson and communities nationwide, far more must be done to create enduring trust. The Department will continue to work with law enforcement, civil rights, faith and community leaders across the country to foster effective relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve and to improve fairness in the criminal justice system overall. In addition, the Department continues to investigate allegations of unconstitutional policing patterns or practices by the Ferguson Police Department.
Eric Holder is a racist... he is not one to bothered by facts,justice or the law.
If takes the Feds to make up their own rules to hang Wilson, that’s what they’ll do.
Wilson is guilty only because he is white.

Iirc the George Zimmerman stuff is in front of a Federal Grand Jury now. There were a couple threads on it a few weeks back.
Given the overloading of evidence in favor of Wilson and against Brown, the DoJ would have to be insane to go after Wilson. The outflowing of public support (donations to a legal defense fund) would be significant, as would the poisoning of relationships between DoJ and state/local law enforcement.
He doesn’t want Darren Wilson - he wants sweeping changes to police engagement rules to make it easier on the criminals and racial quotas for police departments.

By the way, ACORN has been rebranded ( now known as MORE ) and along with the Black Panthers and other outside agitators is responsible for most of the mayhem, rioting, looting and trashing occurring in Ferguson.

I have occasionally wondered whether American Soldiers would ever get fed up with defending this country and our way of life, such as it is.
Similarly, I wonder whether LEOs would ever get fed up with defending or working In some of these communities. What would motivate a guy like Wilson to get up every day and go into a town like Ferguson and defend it? What would motivate an upstanding merchant to make that town his place of business?
I loved how the StL. prosecutor tied Holder and the Feds real tight to their investigation. Makes it real difficult for Holder to say StL. screwed up and “missed” something. Also makes it a real stretch to claim that Wilson “violated Brown’s civil rights” by shooting him.
It was a bravado performance that was intended to protect StL. and the integrity of the GJ findings. I’m sure that is one reason Obama looked angry during his brief statement. His AG is put into a corner with very little wiggle room.
Felix Dzerzhinsky always had people under investigation too.
Wilson must be guilty of a thought crime against Big Brother
Holder’s a hothead ... if he wasn’t AG he would have been in Ferguson burning down stores.

If he did, I never heard about it.
He just flapped his gums about "the investigation continues" while doing nothing. It was all for show, keepin' it real.
I think he announced earlier this year that the "investigation" had ended. The announcement was hardly noticed.
