Where is the black leadership now that a grand jury has decided not to indict the police officer that killed Michael Brown?
Where is Al Sharpton? He advertises himself as a spokesman for the best interests of black America. But he is absent.
Where is Jesse Jackson, another popular media personality who says he speaks for black America? He’s missing in action, too.
It breaks my heart to see televised images of violence from Ferguson, Missouri juxtaposed next to President Obama, the first black president. The president represents black power beyond anyone’s imagination just a few years ago.

I learned early on in life that dire consequences would ensue from punching a cop in the face.
I found it hilarious to see Obama - the head of black American - pontificating pointlessly about non-violence when his sons were trashing black businesses in old Ferguson.
You just summed up the mentality of a liberal with their hypocritical reasoning.
Blacks must solve this for themselves. I can't read for them. I can't make them sit in school and learn something. That's on them.

In the article, Williams refers to brown as the “murdered teen”. He was not “murdered”. Juan needs to learn the difference between ‘killed in self-defense’ and “murdered”.
WHat I don’t get is how there were 2 cop cars on fire in Ferguson, but there were tons of cops. Didn’t the police even try to stop the looters or the fire starting thugs?

It’s not “hypocritical reasoning”,
1) there’s no “reasoning” to it
2) it’s just using every situation as an excuse to advance the agenda, so it really doesn’t matter to them that they appear hypocritical to us.
One thing we’ve got to get over and understand -
pointing out the left’s hypocrisy to them does nothing.
They are not ashamed and will not be swayed by having their illogic and hypocrisy pointed out.
What we DO need to expose is their goals. When their goals are exposed, they lose.
This whole thing is the Brown parents fault, now they speak out like they are experts.
When my own daughter stole things from Walmart and hid them under her blouse, I marched her back into the store to give them back and apologize and promise she would pay for them in the future. Had the Brown parents taught Micheal this simple lesson he would not have taken the Cigars unless he intended to pay for them.
Micheal Brown was a Giant Bully, he manhandled the store clerk which made the clerk call 911, if he was taught by his parents not to bully, his size wouldn’t have mattered.
I am big and a Black Belt, yet nobody has reason to fear me hitting then without lots of cause.
As a parent I teach respect of authority, Teachers, Police, adults. A little Judeo-Christian ethics goes a long way in training kids to be humans not brutes.
The Brown parents need to stop acting like experts and do some soul searching on why Micheal would steal, and assault the store clerk and attack Officier Wilson who stopped shooting each time Micheal paused in his attack and only resumed shooting when Micheal resumed charging at him. Fault the Parents and Micheal, not the cop he punched in the face.
It breaks my heart that the likes of Williams are given any credence anymore.

And he would've even gotten away with strutting in the middle of the street had he shuffled off toward the sidewalk when the cop asked him to do so rather than attacking.
I seriously doubt Michael’s parents gave a rip what he was doing before he died. I used to work with welfare recipients. That kid was some extra food stamps that is all. No one gave a crap about him and it showed.
Just what call to civic action may be within their world view besides "don't be disrespekin me", and How much be on my EBT Card, Obamaphone this month?", and "Bitch, yo forgets my fries!"

Here’s the cop getting all this grief, the system attacked nine ways from Sunday for the death of a criminal in the course of official police duty.
I mean, in America ... African-Americans brutally waste one another for less with such frequency over meaningless issues (issues much LESS significant that robbery, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, etc.) that it’s hilarious!
