I keep forgetting how much they have devolved.
About the same time, there were demonstrations starting in LA and NY city to name two. So yes, I think it was planned, coordinated and has national purpose.
It was also amazing that the national guard was no where to be seen, and I would see news crews who were filming the vandalism and looting, but there were no police to be seen.
In other scenes like on I44 you would see the police and protestors in a face off standing across the highway, and then the protestors just melted away and went on down to South Grand and blocked traffic again.
Mayor Francis Slay had stated that blocking roads would be allowed to some extent. So they did. When the vandalism started there, the police stepped in, and told the crowd to disperse and go home.
There have been reports in the media that one of the “Non Violent Civil Disobedience and Protest Techniques “ that Holders DOJ Community Outreach team has been training the protesters for was shutting down roads,intersections, freeways and bridges.
WHY is this BS governor supposedly tying the hands of the National Guard coming in to help? I just don’t get it. There have been weeks building up to this and they HAD to have known this might happen. I thought they’d be prepared! The incompetency on so many levels these days is astonishing.

And just before Christmas.....there’s going to be a lot of grief and tears tomorrow for those without jobs and businesses....not to mention leveling these stores.

Obama’s in charge deary....they are not going to bring them in without his say so...period. His office has been in direct contact with the state and local police throughout tonight. And if you recall Obama sits on his hands where ever there’s a conflict.
I can’t write them all off. I know some very decent black people in St. Louis and other places. (I worked in downtown St. Louis and Clayton for more than 20 years).
Ferguson has about 20 thousand people living there, and 80% are black. That’s a whole lot of black people that were in their homes and not out creating havoc.
Stupid, low-class, feral don’t give a damn type is just not representative of the whole area, or the whole race.

Usually the better class of blacks often move out of these communities once they get rougher...Ferguson isn’t known for being an upstanding community by any means.
So...when the better class of blacks move out, and they usually do when there’s violence....you’re left with the lowlife...who frankly don’t give a crap.
Oh yea.....
It’s true that people black and white move out when undesirables move in, if they can. Ferguson was about 75% white in the 1990s. Now it is about 80% black.
I expect property values will be in the toilet now. If my business was burned down, I would take the Insurance money and move elsewhere.
