President Obama rejected the idea that his executive action on immigration sets a precedent for future presidents to enact their preferred policies without Congress, at least if the policy were tax reform.
George Stephanopoulos asked Obama in an interview airing on This Week about an analogy that many of the president’s critics have drawn: “How do you respond to the argument, a future president comes in, wants lower taxes. Doesn’t happen. Congress won’t do it — he says I’m not going to prosecute those who don’t pay capital gains tax.”
Obama didn’t respond to the question and continued with his talking points, prompting Stephanopoulos to press him again: “So you don’t think it’d be legitimate for a future president to make that argument?
“With respect to taxes? Absolutely not,” the president replied.
The Democrats always have it both ways.
Republicans in congress are for the most part sniveling cowards that can’t stand being called mean by the Democrats.
Republicans also seem to be totally incapable of explaining a conservative concept to the people or the press. Probably because most of them are in reality not conservatives but Liberal Lite.
We the Conservatives need to stay the course of the Tea Party and work tirelessly to replace our congress critters with the most conservative politicians we can get to run for office. We also need to work very hard to educate those around us on constitutional principles and conservative thought.
Perhaps we can reverse this downward spiral of our country has been in for the last hundred years.

So what if every taxpayers decides that according to Obama’s precedent everyone can refuse to pay their taxes. Since the President does not abide the constitution why should anyone else have to abide whatever he says or does. I for one do not even chose to abide but what he sys. If an illegal comes to my business for counseling he/she will be denied. if an illegal strives to push that I am discriminating I wil simply state to the judge there is no discrimination because there is no law that supports the illegal to receive anything from my business. the little damn illegals can go to hell is all I care.

The problem with George’s question is that it’s based on the assumption that the Liberal Messiah believes there will be a future President.

The EPA, DOE, Dept. of Interior, Internal Revenue and numerous other agencies have over the years been infested with people with an agenda (zealots with a cause) who have made it their life’s mission to control the actions of citizens to fit with their idealistic vision.
This is a natural progression of government foreseen by the founders who warned against big government. Our parents, grandparents and our fellow Americans today have ignored those warnings and so we suffer the further loss of liberty daily.
