Pinal County, Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu appeared on O'Reilly the other evening. I don't watch O'Reilly very often as I feel he goes a bit overboard with the "Fair and Balanced" thing. But I'm glad I watched that show.
Sheriff Babeu made a comment that might have been lost on the casual observer but brought what's left of my alleged brain to its feet.
According to the Sheriff, Obama's immigration executive power grab will cover illegals who have been here for 5 years or more.
Sheriff Babeu, Joe Arpio in Maricopa County and many other law enforcement officials out there have a long and frustrating history with fedzilla that goes like this: Deputies stop and detain suspected illegals. Suspected illegals produce documents indicating they have lived here for 5+ years. Deputies contact Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to report said illegals. ICE asks if illegals presented documents indicating 5 years of residency here. Deputy responds that they did. ICE tells deputies to treat illegals as they would AMERICAN CITIZENS! If no instant crime suspected or observed, the deputies are required to RELEASE the ILLEGALS. Do these overburdened law enforcement organizations have the resources or manpower to VERIFY the authenticity of these documents? I think you know the answer to that one!
When O'Reilly asked Babeu if his officers were presented "forged" documents in these encounters, the Sheriff laughed and responded "All the time". The typically cunning and sinister nature of Obama's unconstitutional, Cloward-Piven inspired action becomes obvious.
Obama's immigration amnesty OSTENSIBLY covers only 4 to 5 million of the 11 to 20 million illegals now in the U.S.! That leaves approximately 6 to 16 million requiring DOCUMENTS necessary to "prove" their 5+ year residency. If you know your way around PhotoShop or similar software (and don't give a damn that your actions would lead to the final destruction of the country!) at between $50 to $100 each, YOU could get rich producing phony lease/rental agreements, utility bills or other documents! Do the math: At an average of, say, $75 each, 16 million forged documents means there's around $1.2 BILLION to be made!
BOTTOM LINE: Obama and his like-minded minions in government have effectively "legalized" all 20 million ++ illegals. Because he is doing NADA to secure the border, the ++ is to cover the millions more who will be coming in to line up at the fraudulent document production operations their friends already here will direct them to!

No. The ones who qualify had to come here below a certain age limit (born after 19XX, I don't remember the exact number). NPR did a piece where they interviewed a woman who qualified for Obamnesty who was in her mid 30's. Then they said her mother who came illegally 14 years ago did not qualify. I guess it was supposed to be a tear jerker, but it was just stupid.
Adding this to my Things That Make Me Steam pile.
Others in the pile: Why does Obama care more about the Latino pressure groups than about all the Americans who just voted? What other reason would he have to do what he just did than that they are his favorite children and we are not? Also all the pundits who keep telling us not to “take the bait” of defunding or impeachment, as if treating us like dumb fish getting caught on a hook will convince us they are right. Also, all those who say they are in favor of what Obama did but not the way it was done. If they hadn’t been preaching amnesty for years this would not have happened (although I realize the rending of the Constitution is actually the more important issue). Also, the way some of the pundits keep saying “don’t defund,” and don’t even mention impeachment, like it is some untouchable object.
OK, finished for now.

Also, if Obama is allowed to do this by the ignorance of the Congress
then every other part of the Constitution is null and void. At this point
Obama can just declare confiscation of all firearms, and only use the Supremes
as his personal backdrop as he sees fit.
If Americans are not Steaming Fing mad as hell over this, they better be, and fast!
There are 10 million more rushing now to get to the border to get their fast ticket to a US citizenship promise. Wow. REWARD people that lie, pay graft, cheat, and despise the law. MAKE these your new citizens. SURELY will vote Democratic.

The reason is that it forces the pro-amnesty wing of the GOP (people like Rubio, McCain, etc) to oppose amnesty, because they don't want to be seen as supporting Obama and his executive order.
Had George W. Bush (another amnesty supporter) issued the same executive order, it would have stuck. Democrats would have supported it because it was amnesty for illegals, Republicans would have mostly supported it because it was Bush. But since it's an Obama executive order, even the most liberal GOPer's don't want to risk looking like they're on his side. Therefore, by early 2015, the new GOP House and Senate will find a way to overturn it (albeit mostly out of partisan politics rather than principle).

declaration by Obama illegal, which allows for their future deportation.
This act has no follow up to stop the influx at the border. This also means
that it will not end. Those continuing to come here will also be granted

Part of the order states that we can’t deport parents of children who are citizens or have green cards. Meaning that any illegal who ran over the border while pregnant is in.

Media reports always describe the immigration policies as an "Executive Action"rather than an executive order, which could mean anything. So either it's not in the system yet, or it's not a binding executive order, just a pronouncement with no legal teeth behind it.
